(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 부천원미경찰서가 6일, 부천원미경찰서장을 비롯해 부천시청, 부천교육지원청 등 유관기관 관계자 등이 참석한 가운데 관내 집중 예방학교인 심원중학교에서 청소년 온라인도박 근절 및 학교폭력 예방을 위한 합동 캠페인을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

부천원미서에 따르면, 이날 등굣길 캠페인에서는 등교하는 학생 한명 한명에게 환한 미소로 인사하며, 온라인도박 근절 및 학교폭력 예방 홍보물 나눠줬다. 

캠페인 참석자들은 등교하는 학생들과 적극적이고 친밀감 있는 캠페인을 펼쳤고, 어깨띠와 물티슈 홍보물 등을 활용해 가시적이고 실질적인 예방 활동을 진행했다. 

특히, 부천원미경찰서 자체시책인 청소년 온라인도박 근절을 위한 ‘단호박 프로젝트’  신선한 홍보물과 효과적인 포스터 네이밍으로 짧지만 핵심적인 내용을 전달하는 등 학생들의 관심도 높은 홍보 활동을 위해 노력했다. 

또한, 온라인도박 예방수칙이 담긴 안내문과 홍보 물품을 배부해 청소년들이 범죄와 사고로부터 스스로를 보호하고 건강한 학교 생활을 할 수 있도록 지원했다.

김형률 부천원미경찰서장은 “청소년의 온라인도박 문제는 단순한 일탈이 아닌 또다른 2차 범죄로 이어질 수 있는 만큼 사전 예방과 올바른 인식 형성이 무엇보다 중요하다”,며 “앞으로 유관기관과 긴밀히 협력해서 청소년들이 안전한 환경에서 정상적인 성장을 할 수 있도록 근본적이고 실질적인 예방 활동을 이어가겠다”고 말했다.
