(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 부천시가 28일, ‘제41회 부천복사골예술제’를 5월 2일부터 5일까지 4일간 부천시청 잔디광장과 중앙공원, 부천아트센터 일원에서 열린다고 밝혔다. 

부천시에 따르면, 올해 예술제는 ‘광장-그 도시의 감각’을 주제로 시민이 일상에서 예술을 즐길 수 있도록 마련된 참여형 축제다. 

시청 잔디광장과 차 없는 거리, 중앙공원을 하나의 문화예술 공간으로 연결해 공연과 전시, 체험 프로그램을 자연스럽게 이어가도록 구성했다.

개막식은 5월 2일 오후 7시 부천시청 잔디광장 특설무대에서 열린다. 

7인조 브라스 밴드 ‘WHAT A BRASS’를 시작으로 스턴트 치어리딩 ‘빅타이드’, 창작 국악 ‘가온락’, 청년성악과 화이트엔젤스의 합창 무대가 차례로 펼쳐지고, 신예 걸그룹 ‘에스투잇(S2IT)’도 무대에 올라 분위기를 더할 예정이다.

축제 기간에는 잔디광장을 중심으로 복사골무용제와 국악제, 어린이가족뮤지컬, 시낭송회 등이 이어지며, ‘숨어있는 예인 찾기 프로젝트’에서는 시민들이 직접 참여해 각자의 재능을 선보인다.

부천아트센터에서는 연극 ‘그녀들의 블루스’와 미술전시가 진행되고, 합창제와 다양한 체험 프로그램도 함께 이어진다. 

이에 더해 잔디광장에는 푸드트럭과 텐트존이 들어서며 방문객들이 여유롭게 머물 수 있는 공간도 마련된다.

중앙공원과 차 없는 거리 일대에서는 상생마켓과 포토페스티벌, 예술체험마켓이 펼쳐진다. 

어린이날을 맞이해 어린이가족뮤지컬과 애니메이션 상영은 물론 범퍼카와 에어 스포츠존 등 놀이 프로그램도 함께 즐길 수 있어 가족 단위 방문객의 발길이 이어질 것으로 보인다.

남동경 부천시장 권한대행은 “부천복사골예술제가 시민 누구나 일상에서 예술을 즐길 수 있는 축제가 되길 바란다”며 “연휴 기간 동안 부천에서 다양한 문화예술을 경험하며 가족과 함께하는 시간이 되길 바란다”고 말했다.

Bucheon City announced on the 28th that the '41st Bucheon Boksagol Arts Festival' will be held for four days from May 2 to 5 at the Bucheon City Hall Lawn Plaza, Central Park, and the Bucheon Art Center.

According to Bucheon City, this year's festival is a participatory event organized under the theme of 'Plaza - The Senses of the City' to allow citizens to enjoy art in their daily lives.

The festival is designed to connect the City Hall Lawn Plaza, the pedestrian street, and Central Park into a single cultural and artistic space, naturally weaving together performances, exhibitions, and experiential programs.

The opening ceremony will be held on May 2 at 7:00 PM on a special stage at the lawn plaza of Bucheon City Hall.

Starting with the 7-member brass band ‘WHAT A BRASS,’ the program will feature a succession of performances including the stunt cheerleading group ‘Big Tide,’ the creative Korean traditional music group ‘Gaonrak,’ and choral performances by the Youth Vocalists and the White Angels. The rookie girl group ‘S2IT’ is also scheduled to take the stage to further heighten the atmosphere.

During the festival, events such as the Boksa-gol Dance Festival, Korean Traditional Music Festival, Children’s Family Musical, and poetry readings will take place centered around the lawn plaza. Additionally, citizens will participate directly in the ‘Finding Hidden Artists Project’ to showcase their talents.

At the Bucheon Arts Center, the play ‘Their Blues’ and an art exhibition will be held, accompanied by a choral festival and various hands-on experience programs.

Furthermore, food trucks and a tent zone will be set up at the lawn plaza, providing a space for visitors to relax. The Coexistence Market, Photo Festival, and Art Experience Market will take place in the Central Park and pedestrian street areas.

To celebrate Children's Day, visitors can enjoy not only children's family musicals and animation screenings but also recreational programs such as bumper cars and an air sports zone, which is expected to attract a steady stream of family visitors.
