(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천서부경찰서가 8일, 2026년도 지역 맞춤형 범죄예방 계획 수립을 위해 한 달간 주민을 대상으로 지역 내 범죄 취약 요인에 대한 의견을 수렴한다고 밝혔다.

서부서에 따르면,  범죄예방 환경 개선 등 문제 해결적 활동 계획 수립 및 추진에 앞서 주민이 실제 체감하는 취약지역과 문제점을 확인하는 등 지역 내 범죄 위험요인을 탐색(Scanning)하고자 주민 대상 온라인 설문조사를 실시한다.

설문 내용은 범죄 취약 장소, 위험요인, 취약 시간대 등 항목으로 구성하고, 위험요인은 다시, 보안등이 부족해 어둡다, CCTV가 필요하다, 빈 건물이 많아 위험하다, 음주 만취자‧청소년이 모여 불안하다, 기타 항목으로 구성된다. 

설문 방법은 행정복지센터와 경찰 방범 협력단체를 통해 통장단, 자율방범대, 시민경찰, 생활안전협의회에 설문 QR코드 및 링크를 배포, 무기명 응답으로 이뤄진다.

서부서는 이렇게 수집한 주민 의견을 바탕으로 문제 해결 방안이 무엇인지 분석(Analysis) 후 내년도 112순찰차 순찰노선 설정, 범죄예방 환경 개선 사업지 선정, 셉테드 방향 설정 등 맞춤형 계획을 수립하여 추진(Response)할 예정이다.
