(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 부평구가 8일 구청장, 부구청장, 국·과장 등 간부공무원 20여 명이 참석한 가운데 ‘2024년 제1차 반부패·청렴 회의’를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

부평구에 따르면, 반부패·청렴 회의는 ‘부패 제로, 청렴 부평 구현’을 목표로 기관장의 청렴 의지를 전파하고, 부패 취약분야 개선 노력을 통해 청렴시책 추진 동력을 확보하기 위한 기관장 주관 회의이다.

이날 회의에서는 지난해 국민권익위원회에서 주관하는 공공기관 종합청렴도 평가 결과와 올해 반부패·청렴 추진계획을 공유하고, 부패취약분야 개선 방안 등을 논의했다.

차준택 구청장은 “사회가 급변하면서 청렴에 대한 인식이 변화하는 만큼 청렴도 평가분야도 확장되고 있으므로 관계부서가 유기적으로 협업해 청렴도 향상에 대비하길 바란다”며 “평가를 떠나 한번의 부패행위가 구의 신뢰를 약화시키고 구정발전에 심각한 장애가 될 수 있으므로 사소한 부조리부터 근절할 수 있도록 각자 위치에서 최선을 다해줄 것”을 당부했다.

한편, 부평구는 반부패·청렴 회의, 청렴인사이드(청렴방송), 청렴 실천 다짐 영상, 청렴모니터링, 청렴정책 아이디어 공모 등 청렴도 향상을 위한 다양한 시책을 지속해서 추진해 나갈 방침이다.
