(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 부천시가 오는 7월 22일까지 시민 중심의 스마트도시 조성을 위한 ‘부천시 스마트도시 리빙랩 시민참여단’을 모집한다고 밝혔다. 

부천시에 따르면, 스마트도시 리빙랩(Living-Lab)이란 시민이 거주하는 지역의 문제를 직접 발굴하고, 인공지능(AI), 빅데이터, 사물인터넷(IoT) 등 스마트도시 관련 기술을 활용해 이를 해결하는 시민참여 정책을 말한다.

부천시는 올해 3월부터 스마트도시계획 수립 연구용역을 진행 중이며, 본 계획 수립 과정에서 시민들의 의견을 수렴하고 시민이 체감할 수 있는 서비스를 발굴하고자 스마트도시 리빙랩을 운영한다. 

시민참여단으로 선정되면 오는 8월부터 9월까지 스마트도시 교육 수강, 문제 발굴 및 해결방안을 위한 스마트도시 서비스 기획과 검증 등 다양한 활동을 수행하며 총 3회 그룹별 워크숍에 참여하게 된다. 

부천시는 19세 이상 스마트도시에 관심 있는 시민, 부천시 소재 직장인, 대학생을 대상으로 약 40명을 선발할 예정이다.

참여를 희망하는 경우 모집 포스터의 큐알(QR)코드를 통해 접수하면 된다.

또한, 부천시가 오는 9일 오후 3시부터 부천시의회 대회의실에서 공정무역 활성화를 위한 공정무역 정책토론회를 개최한다고 밝혔다. 

부천시에 따르면, 이번 토론회는 공정무역의 중요성을 알리고 지역사회에서의 공정무역 마을운동의 의미와 성과를 공유하기 위해 마련됐다. 

토론회에서는 공정무역의 현안을 알아보고 향후 과제에 대한 심도 있는 논의가 이루어질 예정이다. 

부천시는 지난 2017년 공정무역도시 최초 인증을 받았으며 이후, 부천공정무역협의회와 함께 대학과 사회적기업 등 민간 네트워크를 활용한 교육과 캠페인, 판매처 확대 등의 노력을 꾸준히 해왔다. 

토론회 진행은 부천시의회 박순희 의원이 좌장을 맡고, 장승권 성공회대학교 교수가 발제자로 참여하여 ‘공정무역 마을운동의 의미와 성과 그리고 과제’라는 주제로 발표할 예정이다.

한편, 부천시는 지난해 공정무역도시 3차 재인증을 획득하며 전국 최고의 공정무역도시로서 인증을 받았다.

Bucheon City announced that it will recruit the ‘Bucheon City Smart City Living Lab Citizen Participation Group’ by July 22nd to create a citizen-centered smart city.
