(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 정보통신산업진흥원(NIPA)이  오는 10일 서울 상암동 누리꿈스퀘어 디지털파빌리온에서국내 XR - 메타버스 기업의 정보교류와 산업확산을 위해 KoVAC(Korea VR AR Complex) Meta Connect 1차 세미나/네트워킹 데이를 개최한다고 밝혔다.

진흥원에 따르면, 상암동 누리꿈스퀘어의 KoVAC은 실감형 콘텐츠 및 메타버스, 디지털 트윈 기술을 해외에 수출하기 위한 XR 쇼룸 전시공간, 글로벌 비즈니스 지원, 마케팅 등을 적극 지원하는 행사다.

2024 KoVAC META Connect 행사를 통해 매월 정기적으로 메타버스 산업 주요 동향과 메타버스 활용 주요 기술, 적용 사례, 국내외 메타버스 핵심 이슈 등을 학계·업계·연구소 등 국내 저명 전문가가 강연하고, 관련 수요처와 공급처가 연결될 수 있는 산업의 장을 마련하기 위해 진행된다.

이번 행사는 ‘실감콘텐츠’ 중심으로 XR 메타버스 기술에 대해서 국내 대표 연사들의 세미나와 XR 기업성장센터 및 XR 쇼룸 입주기업의 발표 있으며, 참가자 대상 XR 쇼룸 투어가 있을 예정이다.

또 이번 세미나에서는 태국 최대 규모 미래기술 전시 'SCBX NEXT TECH'에 초청 및 진출한 선도 실감콘텐츠 기업인 라이브케이 조남권 대표가 특별 연사로 나서 “<선도기업 Insight : 성장 스토리> : 실감콘텐츠 선도 기업 '라이브케이' 우리의 스케일업 이야기”를 주제로 XR 메타버스 스타트업 생존에 대한 경험을 공유를 통해 관련 기업들과 소통 할 계획이다.

또한 이번 행사에서는 KoVAC 실감 기술 기업들의 우수 성과를 공유하며 더불어 NIPA XR 우수 실증 콘텐츠와 기술을 시연하고 체험할 수 있는 KoVAC XR 쇼룸 투어 프로그램이 운영된다.

2024 KoVAC META Connect 1st seminar/networking day held

The National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA) will hold KoVAC (Korea VR AR Complex) Meta Connect 1 at the Nuri Dream Square Digital Pavilion in Sangam-dong, Seoul on the 10th for information exchange and industrial expansion of domestic XR-Metaverse companies.
